Graboyes completes glazing package at Laborers’ District Council training center in Philadelphia

Graboyes Commercial Window and Glass Solutions recently completed the glazing package — including aluminum framed storefronts, glazed aluminum curtainwalls, frameless glass doors and walls, and miscellaneous glazing including a bike shelter, mirrors, and handrail — for the Laborers’ District Council of Philadelphia & Vicinity Education and Training Center. Graboyes served as the glazing subcontractor for TN Ward Company, and the architect on the project was Camille Peluso Architects. Additional partners on the project included YKK and Duo-Gard. Special thanks to all of our partners including our own talented union field installers and management team.

The three story facility located on North Broad Street in Philadelphia will provide, in partnership with Temple University, both a training center for construction laborers and a community learning center. The community learning center will offer learning opportunities to the surrounding community including general education classes in literacy, English as a second language, writing, math, and life management skills.
