Estimator Andrew Balas of Graboyes Commercial earns building information modeling (BIM) certification

Graboyes Commercial Window Company is pleased to announce that estimator Andrew Balas has earned a Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (BIM) through The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The certificate currently is held by only 896 individuals.

The designation is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge of concepts related to BIM adoption, practice, and process transformation outlined in the program.

“BIM is one more advanced tool that our team will use to improve field productivity and insure the proper performance of the building envelope and other systems,” said Ellis Guiles, President of Graboyes Commercial Window Company. “I congratulate Andrew for participating in the required series of courses and then putting in the additional effort to pass the rigorous examination that accompanies the certification process.”

“I am proud to have received this certification,” said Balas, “and I look forward to implementing the BIM process on future glazing and building performance projects.”
