Congratulations to senior project manager Les Schlemback for completing an introduction to estimating and scheduling course offered by the General Building Contractors Association. The course covered methodology, procedures, and organizational techniques in the preparation of a competitive bid and schedule.
A union glazier with Local 252, Les has worked for Graboyes for 25 years and earlier this year was promoted from project manager to senior project manager. He recently led the union installer field crews for the company’s largest contract to date — replacement of nearly 7,000 architectural windows at Alden Park Apartments, a National Historic Register site in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, a project that spanned 18 months.
