Greg Laska completes AGCA Advanced Management Program

Graboyes Commercial Window Company is pleased to announce that operations manager Greg Laska has completed The Associated General Contractors of America’s Advanced Management Program, sponsored in part by the General Building Contractors Association for employees of its member firms. The annual best-in-class training, held this year in Dallas, advances construction industry executives in essential skills and techniques to successfully lead within their organization. Course content includes leadership, construction ethics, team building, safety management, and construction productivity.

Laska, who has been with Graboyes for eight years, holds a bachelor’s degree in civil/construction engineering technology from Temple University and is pursuing his MBA from Temple’s Fox School of Business. He was promoted from project manager to operations manager earlier this year.

“This experience has energized and empowered me to implement some new techniques and processes into an already successful construction firm,” said Laska. “Getting out of the daily routine and gaining deeper levels of understanding from other advanced professionals across different disciplines is a great opportunity that supports our mission of delivering excellence for our clients,” he said.

Graboyes president Ellis Guiles added, “As an employer, it’s so important that we support our team members and rising leaders in their personal and professional growth. It’s a joy to have professionals like Greg on our team who want to take on challenging experiences like this program. And we have already begun to incorporate some of Greg’s takeaways into our current methods,” he said.
